(1) I study quotient families, which are constructed from finite group actions on manifolds together with linear representations of the groups.
In particular, I construct and classify the quotient families associated with regular polyhedra.

(2) From the viewpoint of a generalization of fractional Dehn twists, I study the uniformization of cyclic quotients of singularities.
