My research field is mathematical analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations related to fluid mechanics, such as the Navier-Stokes equations and vorticity equations, based on the functional analysis and the real analysis. In particular, my interest is to give the mathematical description for the behavior of solutions to those equations in the sigular perturbation limit, where the solutions often exhibit typical structures or properties such as the boundary layer and the enhanced dissipation.
