概要
Inspired by the work of Gukov and Witten, we investigate Strominger-Yau-Zaslow (SYZ) and topological mirror symmetries (TMS) for parabolic Hitchin systems of types B and C. In this talk, we begin by reviewing SYZ and TMS for non-parabolic Hitchin systems and the challenges that arise in the parabolic case. To address these difficulties, we construct new moduli spaces of Higgs bundles associated with nilpotent orbit closures and analyze their generic Hitchin fibers. Along the way, we uncover deep connections between mirror symmetries, Springer duality, and Lusztig’s canonical quotient. This work is based on joint research with B. Wang and X. Wen (arXiv:2403.07552).
