We shall show in this talk how, using hypergeometric identities, we can compute the harmonic measure of a finite interval and of its complementary for a strictly stable real Lévy process. This will gives a simple and unified proof of several results scattered in the literature, old and recent. Following the same ideas, we shall also provide a full description of the corresponding Green functions, and discuss some consequences. This is a joint work with Thomas Simon.
