Demailly introduced an invariant of a line bundle, called the Seshadri constant, and established its relationship with the positivity of the adjoint bundle. In this talk, we generalize his result in terms of a convex body called the Okounkov body and establish a correspondence between its interior lattice points and global sections of the adjoint bundle. For the proof, we use positive characteristic techniques.
