A classical result by Bowen says that the stable lamination of a C^2 horseshoe on a finite-dimensional manifold has zero Lebesgue measure. There are also similar results for partially hyperbolic invariant sets by Alves and Pinheiro. We consider the same problem in the infinite-dimensional setting. If times allows we discuss applications to renormalization theory of multimodal maps.
