Toric varieties and mirror symmetry

Abstract

Mirror symmetry predicts duality between symplectic geometry and complex geometry in various contexts. In this talk, I will explain the definition of toric varieties and introduce their correspondence with the Landau–Ginsburg model, which is a mirror of them.
