Global existence and regularity for a doubly nonlinear parabolic equation

Abstract

In this talk, we consider a doubly nonlinear parabolic equation inspired by the classical Yamabe flow on a bounded domain in Euclidean space. We present global existence and regularity results of weak solutions for this equation, for instance, the expansion of positivity, the nonlinear intrinsic scaling, etc. This is joint work with Prof. M. Misawa (Kumamoto Univ.) and Prof. T. Kuusi (Helsinki Univ.).
