The construction of Gross, Hacking and Keel provides a method to construct a mirror Landau Ginzburg model to a Fano surface together with a choice of anti-canonical divisor. In this talk I will introduce this construction and motivate how it relates to the Calabi-Yau picture. I will demonstrate how the construction gives algebraic equations and at the end explain what happens in the nef case.
