In this presentation, we investigate several dynamic notions as attractors, recurrence, limit sets and their applications. We first deal with envelope theory which is started from the concept of functional envelopes and its applications. In the second part we discuss the dynamic concepts on 3-manifolds with a certain cohomology condition.
