From Kansai International Airport to JR Kyoto Station
Airport Limited Express "HARUKA" (Google Map)
Take the JR airport express train "Haruka" to JR Kyoto Station. It leaves for Kyoto every thirty minutes, takes approximately 75 minutes and costs 3,170 yen including seat reservation. Kyoto is usually the final destination, so you need not worry when to get off.
From JR Kyoto Station to The Palace Side Hotel (Google Map)
Take a subway "Karasuma line” and get off at Marutamachi Station (4 stops). It takes about 7 minutes. Then, it takes 5 minutes from Marutamachi station to the hotel by foot.
From The Palace Side Hotel to Kyoto University
Take a city bus number 203 (Google Map) or 17 (Google Map) and get off at "Kyodai Nougakubu-mae". From the bus station, it takes about 2 minutes to the Math Department on foot.
