What's New
- I wrote an expository article in sugaku seminar. "The Riemann hypothesis for congruence zeta functions and its development and influence", Sugaku seminar, November, 2009 (to appear).
- I wrote a (short) article in sugaku seminar. "News flash: Finally, The Sato-Tate conjecture is completely proved(?!)", Sugaku seminar, pp. 34-35, September, 2009.
Note : The following is just a personal list of workshops. It is not complete at all.
I will be an organizer or speaker of some of them, but I am not concerned with most of them.
The information of workshops which I will not participate in or am not planning to do so is also included.
For details, please look at the official webpage of each workshop.
- November 21(Sat) - 23(Mon), 2009 : The seventh Takagi Lectures, Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan --- This times the Takagi lecture is given to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Teiji Takagi, the creator of the Class Field Theory and the father of modern mathematical research in Japan. It is larger than usual (5 invited speakers including 3 number theorists).
- November 24(Tue) - 27(Fri), 2009 : Workshop on Arithmetic Geometry in Kanazawa, Ishikawa prefecture bunkyo hall, Kanazawa, Japan [Note : We changed the schedule in order to avoid an overlap with "Takagi Lecture".] --- Registration is required because the number of seats in the lecture room is strictly limited. I made a Japanese version of the webpage. (Last update: Sun, September 20, 2009).
- February 5-14, 2010 : Fundamental Lemma and Hitchin Fibration, Kurashiki seaside hotel, Japan.
- July 24-30 (?), 2010 : Summer school on GL(n), Kurashiki(?), Japan.
- November 22-26, 2010 : Workshop on mod p & p-adic Langlands Functoriality (for Young Researchers) ?? , ???

Announcement
"Kono teiri ga utsukushii" (These are beautiful theorems) is now published (in Japanese)
by Sugakushobo.
Many introductory articles on beautiful theorems are included in this book.
I am one of the 20 authors. I wrote an introductory article on "Hasse's theorem"
on the number of rational points on elliptic curves over finite fields.
Sugaku-no-Tanoshimi (Have Fun with Mathematics) 2008 is now published
(in Japanese).
Many articles concerning the Sato-Tate conjecture are included in this volume.
I wrote articles on elliptic curves, outline of the proof of the Sato-Tate conjecture,
and Galois deformation theory.
